Anyone Can Have An Idea 💡

The Secret Behind My LinkedIn Growth

Before We Start…

Today’s newsletter should be a good one for those of you trying to execute your ideas consistently.

But before we dive into WISER, I’ve been toying with the idea of publishing this newsletter on a different day of the week.

After all, Saturdays might be good to give you the space to slow down and reflect on the nugget of wisdom, but you might not check emails on weekends.

So let me know your preference! Vote here:

Now let’s get WISER together!

Anyone can come up with ideas.

It’s the ability to consistently execute them that will separate you from the rest.

Establish how you can consistently execute ideas, then get to work.

Let’s see today’s nugget of wisdom illustrated:

Today’s quote comes courtesy of LinkedIn expert and solopreneur Justin Welsh:

“Ideas are easy.
Execution is hard.
Consistency is harder.”

Justin Welsh

Justin has managed to build to build a $10M business on his own.

Given that he shows up on multiple platforms daily, he’s qualified to make the above statement.

He knows what it takes to show up consistently.

I’ve been posting visuals under the Wisdom Made Easy brand since May 2022.

But the idea for Wisdom Made Easy came much, much earlier.

In fact, I had a flick back through my journals and found some references to this creative endeavour dating back to early 2020.

The ideas came easy, but actually starting took a while to build up the courage to do.

Can you relate to this?

Maybe there something that you have had the idea for but are yet to actually execut?

It can be hard to execute on an idea, but it is even harder to execute on an idea consistently.

As someone who has posted on multiple platforms, 6-days a week, I can attest to how difficult it can be to be consistent.

I’m also in the unique position to share how valuable it can be too.

Without these daily posts, I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to work with people like Timo Armoo, Sahil Bloom and Codie Sanchez.

And I wouldn’t have built a following of 200,000+ across all social platforms.

I certainly wouldn’t have managed to make a profitable business.

And most importantly, I would not have been able to get wiser at the same pace without that consistent commitment of showing up daily.

It could be the same for you too.

Complete today’s Reflection to identify how you can consistently execute your ideas.

Now it’s your time to reflect on today’s wisdom.

Consider journaling your responses to the following questions:

  • What is an idea that you are waiting to execute?

  • What is one action that you can take to execute that idea?

  • What things can you put in place to execute consistently?

It’s likely that you have found the WISER Newsletter through my LinkedIn presence.

So today’s resource is for those that are interested in executing more consistently on LinkedIn.

You might be surprised to know that part of me being able to build a following of 35,000+ on that platform is thanks to Justin Welsh’s LinkedIn OS.

It’s a streamlined, self-paced course that will help you be intentional with how you present yourself online.
