Make the Most of This Opportunity

FREE Annual Review Resource Inside

I have produced over 300 unique visuals.

This is one of my favourites.

Visual inspired by the story of the birth of Jesus Christ.

It’s not particularly artistically impressive.

It’s not the cleverest metaphor I’ve ever produced.

But the message itself is important, and one that we all take for granted.

As we approach the end of another year, many of us will be looking back to see if it turned out as we had hoped.

  • Maybe you made a New Year’s Resolution to quit that habit

  • Did you promise yourself that you’d get a new job?

  • Perhaps you wanted to finally move into a new home

Whatever you wanted to achieve this year, a question that haunts me is:

🤔 Did I Make the Most of Opportunities?

Every year provides us with 365, each with dozens opportunities.

That’s why I have made a digital resource to think through whether I made the most of this year.

And the best part?

And it’s FREE!

📑 The Wise Annual Review

Allow me to introduce you to The Wise Annual Review.

It’s a downloadable and printable resource to enable you to extract all the wisdom from this year.

It reflects on such areas as:

  • Do your relationships energise or drain you?

  • What opportunities did you make the most of and which did you squander?

  • Did you achieve everything you aspired to?

  • What things are you grateful for from 2023?

And there’s much, much more.

Engaging with this FREE resource will ensure that you’re starting 2024 with the intentionality to make it the best it can be.

🪞 Why Spend Time Reflecting?

You’ve experienced many things this year.

Some will be positive, others will be negative.

Regardless of the experiences that you’ve had this year, if you do nothing with those experiences, they will stay as mere experiences.

You’re merely collecting.

You need to start connecting the dots.

Take the time this holiday season to reflect on the experiences that you have had this year.

Now is your opportunity to turn 2023 into wisdom that will serve you and those around you in 2024.

It’s time to get WISER.

If you haven’t already, download The Wise Annual Review here:

✍️ Journal Prompts

• Have you made the most of 2023’s opportunities?
• Would you benefit from doing an annual review?
• What’s 1 experience that has helped you get wiser this year?

Consider journaling through the above questions yourself.

👍 Recommendations

Here are couple of things that I think will complement this week’s newsletter and will help you to get wiser:

1️⃣ The first is an audiobook that I’m currently listening to: Die With Zero.

As I’ve reviewed my year, I’ve spent some time reflecting on how I could live more intentionally in 2024.

Bill Perkin’s book looks at the devastating statistics of how many people die with riches in their bank account.

Instead he encourages us to consider spending money on experiences and blessing people whilst we’re still able to.

To read or listen to this thought-provoking book yourself, buy it here:

2️⃣ My second recommendation is for the entrepreneurial spirits out there!

Omar Eltakori has YouTube chops, and in his new series The Dept. he interviews guests who are owning it in “their department”.

I’ve watched every episode in the last few weeks, and each one has provided me with actionable insights to make sure that Wisdom Made Easy is serving people.

Here’s one of the episodes that I really enjoyed about personal branding:

✍️ What I’m Working On

It’s been a bit of a sprint to make sure that The Wise Annual Review was ready for this weekend, so I’ll now take a little time to breathe!

But the fun doesn’t stop here!

In the next couple of weeks I’ll be sharing another Christmas present that I have made for you!

And it’s another FREE digital resource to enable you to get the most out of 2024!
