What We Can Learn From Children
Today at a glance:
Estimated reading time: 3 minutes, 52 seconds
This week I have had the please of collaborating with Project FUEL.
It’s been a delight working with their team to visualise some of the wisdom that they’ve recorded from children over the last few years.
I am excited to celebrate it with you today.
Let’s get WISER together.
🚲 Before You Learn How to Ride a Bicycle
This first principle of wisdom comes courtesy of Abdul from Belgium.
Here’s what he had to say at the age of just 6:
Abdul's words remind us that before diving into new challenges, understanding the basics and preparing ourselves is crucial.
Even the smallest voices can teach us the biggest lessons.
📝 What lesson do you take from Abdul’s wisdom?
🍦 How to Eat an Ice Cream
This next nugget of wisdom comes from 5-year old Emma in Bulgaria:
Isn’t this such a sweet reminder?
Emma learned this lesson after taking a bite of ice cream from both ends, especially chocolate, which can lead to a messy situation!
Her advice? Stick to one end to avoid a chocolate-covered disaster!
This life lesson serves as a beautiful reminder to focus on one thing at a time.
Just like eating ice cream from both ends can lead to a messy situation, juggling too many things at once can lead to chaos.
It’s often better to tackle one side of the problem or opportunity before moving on to the next!
📝 How can you apply Emma’s wisdom to your life?
🤔 What Else Can We Learn From Children?
